Pine Trail Camp is a beautiful place, but what makes it the place that you enjoy is not merely the tall trees and the sifting sand and the quality quiet and the substantial stars and the cool cement courts or sweet sand volleyball courts or terrific trails in the dunes or even the classic cabins and luminous lodge you will be staying in‚ or any of the other stuff i can‚ not think of an amazing alliteration for, off the top of my head. The life of Pine Trail Camp is found in the God that has his hand over it and in the people that He brings here to serve and help you however they can. We are always looking for summer counselors. If you are interested fill out the appropriate forms below and mail then to us. If you have any questions fill free to call or email us.

Here are application forms:

Layne Lechner

Layne Lechner climbing

Name: Layne Lechner

Has Spent: (too many years to count!)

Something You Should Know: Layne has invested more time and effort and love in this camp than most of the rest of us combined.  Also, he's reading a great book right now. You should ask him about it.

You'll Most Likely See Him: climbing something, fixing something, wiggling his eyebrows, etc.

He Wants You To Know: Layne is truly a product of Pine Trail. At the age of 10 years old Layne dedicated his life to be used by God during a campfire challenge given by a missionary to Papua New Guinea. Since that time serving as summer staff, counselor, and summer camp Director, Layne's life was molded by Godly people who cared about him and showed unconditional love to him. He met his beautiful wife Debby in 1979 at Pine Trail, and the rest is history. Layne, Debby, Josh Justin , Nicole and Andrew came to Pine Trail in 2000, and have served joyfully in many capacities.
